The local theater league is going to have me help them with remodeling the inside and outside so it will be much more presentable. The town square of the city I live in looks like an old western ghost town, except that it's in the middle of the US and EVERY single building was designed and make by a different architect from a different generation. I'll have to post some pictures of it some time so the -5 people who read my journals can get a feel for what I'm talking about.

Anyway, they want me to come up with designs and sketches, but I'm going to go the extra mile and make a 3D rendition of the whole thing inside and out so they will really know how it will look. It will be good practice since I haven't made a building in a while. Lighting is so much easier to work with inside than outside in my experience.

For some reason they want a neon sign in front! Ugh! Those are for bars and other crappy excuses for a restaurant, not a theater. Especially not for a theater you'd think of bringing kids into. Hopefully I can talk them out of that and just stick with a lighted marquee. Those are so much more professional looking. Well, time for bed. I'll be posting some sketches or something in the near to recent future if anyone even cares.
